Who are we?
In 1992, Iowans interested in promoting agriculture created a non-profit organization dedicated to accurate, agricultural education to Iowa's youth.
IAAC provides research-based materials to Iowa's educators - free of charge to educators in public and private schools, 4-H groups, and after school programs.

The activities of the Iowa Agriculture Awareness Coalition are archived in a 5 minute segment on Iowa Public Television's nationally broadcast program, "Market to Market".
Why agriculture?
Our goal is to help students gain awareness of agriculture’s daily role in our lives so they can become citizens with proper skills to judge America's agricultural and environmental programs.
- Statewide, 393,636* jobs are related to agriculture.
- That means about 1 in every 5 jobs in Iowa is Ag-related!
- Americans are dependent upon transportation fuels, food security, and the many value-added benefits of Iowa's agricultural products.
Iowa Ag Moments:
Students at a Tama County Classroom Ag Day enjoy the Ag Times student magazine designed for this age group. Congratulations, kids!
Please note we do not mail out thousands of materials -we mail to a teacher for guided classroom use.
